At 8 am one day, the couple got a package and some roses delivered with a handwritten note on it.

The note read “Use these to blend in at your first location.”

“Blending in” with a bouquet of flowers?  Hmm…At this point the couple realized they were going to go somewhere for this gift.

Inside the box were clues. It was going to be a scavenger hunt date!

The first note included a welcome message. They were jazzed!

The woman in the couple got this clue right away. Can you guess what it is? (The answer is below the photo.)

With that clue, they were at the Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery to find the next clue.

They found the last supper sculpture and found the next clue.

Inside two tickets to the Zoo and code breakers to use to solve the next puzzle.

The note had said, "Diego Pops. Arrive between 11:30-12:15." So the entered the zoo…

And found Diego Pops, which was Mexican restaurant. At this point, they were hungry, so this was perfect.

The waitress informed them that Secret Santa was buying them lunch and they could eat whatever they wanted. They wanted…tacos!

Yum. The perfect inter-clue meal.

For dessert: churro fries, a Choco Taco and another clue from the waitress.

“Your next clue begins within the maze.” Next stop: a mirror/laser maze!

They went through the maze, and before they reached the end of it, an unknown participant handed them another clue.

This clue was a little tricky, and they needed a little help to figure it out.

First, they went to the “Love” statue in Scottsdale. And then they headed to the library. (The clue was a Dewey decimal reference).

The next clue was inside “The Last Supper” book about Leonardo Davinci.

Inside was a map of downtown Scottsdale marking a location on the map with the same feather that was on the first clue.

They opened the original feather clue.

Inside it said. “Find Me.”

They dug into the rocks…

The envelope contained a key to the box they had received at the beginning.

Inside were some scenic photos. Time to head to Papago Park.

It took them a couple tries to find the right trail.

At the top of the butte, they were handed another clue. Meanwhile, they took a moment to enjoy the view.

Next stop: A local restaurant called Rokerji, where they were supposed to order a beverage and wait.

And, the Secret Santa/Architect (on the left) arrived to meet them!

The Secret Santa surprised them with a bottle of champagne.  The gift recipients learned that the Santa/Architect was starting a business creating custom scavenger hunts for special events like birthdays, engagements, anniversaries etc.   To find out more visit:  Constructed Adventures
